Question-Who is the better of the safety prospects in SC (Wright, Coates, Washington)? Ronnie

Answer-Of the three you mentioned we like Coates. He has the biggest upside. Coates is 6-3 to 6-4 and runs well. He is the tallest and covers the most ground. We love his range. Wright could be the fastest. He runs better than his former high school teammate Maurice Nelson. Washington is the thickest. He could grow into a linebacker at the next level. All three are different because they have different frames. But all three are big hitters. Don't forget about some of the athletes that can move to safety like Byrd, Taylor, Chambers, etc.

Question-Are all of Clemson's commitments firm? Bruce

Answer-I think so but who knows. These kids that commit early will still get recruited hard by other schools and when the un-committed players come home and talk about official visits and how much fun they had then some may wish to take visits. With that said, we think several of the commitments are considered high character kids. Austin, Humphries, Grisham, Taylor, Muse and Lewis have had coaches speak about what good kids they are. That may not be an indicator of their future plans on taking other visits.

Question-If we only signed one defensive end who would it be? Don't dance around on this one. Charles

Answer-I am a terrible dancer. Since you pin me down to just one. I would guess Roderick Battle of Atlanta. He has camped at Clemson and Burton Burns has made a nice impression on him.
