Will we get a home game in the NIT?

Clemson should get definitely one home game, and possibly two in the NIT. The Tigers closed strong in the regular season, and they did enough to earn a home game in the first round.

Any good rumors around spring practice?

No, real rumors coming out. Two names I am hearing a lot from are Akeem Robinson and Andrew Diomande. Diomande is a player that Dabo Swinney has been quietly excited about for two years. He has always looked solid with the ball in his hands. He is becoming more polished overall in his third year under Swinney. Diomande could be a real big surprise this spring. Robinson is catching the ball better, and he is the best blocker out of all the tight ends. He is continuing to develop, and he could be ready to make an impact by August.

Any line-up changes this weekend for baseball?

No one will know until right before the first pitch on Friday. Marquez Smith could see more playing time at third with Demmink in the DH role, but also continue to watch the play of Adrian Casanova. Casanova missed valuable practice time with a broken finger in the pre-season. If he continues to make errors, you can expect to see more of Doug Hogan or Alex Burg.

Any early returns on Rumph?

The early returns say his style is a little different from Hobby. Hobby was a screamer, which the defensive line needed that last year. Rumph uses a softer approach. Rumph is a good teacher. He works hard with the guys, and he is very serious about details. The feedback from the players and those around him have been very positive thus far.
