Question-What position battles are still unsettled? Mark

Answer-As far as the starters are concerned their are limited spots still up for grabs. The placekicking and punting duties are still up in the air. Dean and Furr will continue their battle at PK until the last week of camp. Chason and Wiksell continue to dual for the punting job. Kelly and Merriweather are locked in for playing time at RB. The left tackle spot is Roman Fry's but Myrick's illness has led to some shuffling. Tate, Clark, Groover, McDuffie are all fighting for more snaps at the defensive tackle opposite of Coleman. Waters and Watkins are locked in a battle at one LB position. Both will play a lot there. There are battles for positions on the depth chart and reserve playing time. Kyle Browning is trying to prove himself reliable for more snaps. Kelly and Harris are fighting to not red-shirt at wide receiver. Richardson and Robinson are trying to proof to the staff that they are ready for time.

Question-Why are not we moving C.J. Gaddis to WR/RB? We need him on the field. Kirk

Answer-I see posts about Gaddis, Groover and the running back fans want to see play more. These same people wanted Dantzler instead of Streeter, Simmons instead of Dantzler, etc. The staff meets before practice. They grade every film. The meet again. They go to every practice and watch every move. They meet again. Then when they finish meeting they meet again. This staff is better suited to make personnel decisions. Second guess play calling or game plans but try not to second guess personnel decisions.

Question-Who is definitely headed out of state? Steve

Answer-Huggins and Greene. I thought Neal was but he has started talking like he is going to look at in-state schools more. Coates is committed to UGA but he will look around.
