-The Clemson baseball team is ranked in the top four in team batting, team pitching, and team fielding. The Tigers are hitting .308 as team, which is third in the league behind Georgia Tech and Miami. The pitching staff is fourth in the conference with a 4.05 ERA. They are fielding .970 which is second in the conference behind Virginia. Also, the team is tied with North Carolina with 54 home runs for tops in the conference.

-Herman Demmink is currently eighth in batting average with .378 average. Demmink is starting to provide the spark, he had last season before suffering a back injury that limited him the rest of the season.

-Stephen Faris dropped from second to tenth in individual ERA. After giving up eight earned runs versus Georgia Tech, he saw his ERA rise from 1.20 to 2.33.

-Taylor Harbin is in the top five of four categories. Harbin is fifth in hits with 68, third in doubles with 19, tied for fifth in RBIs with 51, and tied for second in total bases with 120. Quite a resume being developed for the outstanding freshman.

-Kris Harvey, who is a Golden Spikes Award candidate, is in the top five in three categories. Harvey leads the league with 17 home runs, Miami's Ryan Braun is second with 14. Harvey is fourth in the league with 52 RBIs, and he is also tied for second in total bases with 120.

-Tyler Colvin is fourth in the league with 18 doubles.

-Clemson is 3-3 versus the teams currently ahead of them in the standings taking two from UNC and one from Georgia Tech. The Tigers still have a three game series remaining with Miami at home May 19-21.
