Rob,

I always have to start with the disclaimer that it was the first day and it was only in shorts. Therefore I don’t think its fair to say disappointed in anyone yet. I do think I this is a very good looking team full of big bodies. I thought Kelly Bryant has improved as a passer. I thought Hunter Johnson looked fantastic. Feaster is a beast. He is huge at 222. Tee Higgins, Amari Rodgers impressed me. They will both play. Milan Richard had a great day catching everything. John Simpson looks as good as ever. AJ Terrell caught my eye. He is a great looking athlete. The punting was hit or miss. Just a few notes. Hope this helps.

Where do Chester McGlockton, Trevor Pryce, Jim Stuckey and Brentson Buckner stand on the record charts?

Kirk,

Very High. Stuckey was a first-team All-American in 1979. McGlockton was as talented as anyone who ever played here but didn’t have consistent production. He never made an All-American team. Price was a talent but only played one year here. Buckner was a lot like McGlockton in that he was talented but was a better pro. Stuckey was the only guy of that group that made an All-American 1st, 2nd or 3rd team.

What are your thoughts on Clemson offering Trace Jackson- Davis (Son Of Dale Davis) I hope he commit to Clemson.

I saw that the other day and it put a smile on my face because his dad was one of my favorites. No one played harder than Dale Davis. He is a self-made star. No one was tougher. I haven't seen Trace play but have read about him, and he seems impressive. Hope he will be a Tiger. It would be great to see Dale back more.
