Mickey,

I heard from a friend who was at a recent Prowl & Growl that Dabo alluded to issues with Korrin Wiggins’ rehab? Is this true? We really need this guy imo. He was our top nickel on that #1 Defense, a very good tackler, and our backup FS if I recall. Needless to say, KW crossed my mind more than once during the Alabama game

Cheers

Jeremy

Jeremy,

Wiggins has been a very productive player and was a ball-hawking defender before his injury. Like you, I think he is a key to the defense. He has experience which is needed in the secondary. However, I have also heard concerns about his rehab. The reviews this spring were not promising. At this point I would not put Wiggins in the category of a player, the staff feels like it can count on early in 2016. However, I have heard some positive news in the last two days on Wiggins, so maybe there is hope.

Hi Mickey!

Over the football and basketball off season I was wondering what the chances were of either Coach Swinney or Coach Brownell scheduling a white out at away football games (with the exception of Georgia Tech because they are probably already planning a white out when we go to them) and maybe some big basketball games such as UNC, Duke, NC State, etc. I got the idea from the annual purple out we have every football season for Military Appreciation Day. We sell more white merchandise than we do purple so it would actually be slightly easier to do a whiteout than a purple out. I feel this will really help the football team at big away games such as Auburn, Florida State, Boston College, South Carolina, and any other SEC team that we play on the road. The white will stand out against the darker colors of the home team, the team will see exactly how much support they have, and will feel more confident. This of course is just a suggestion and in the hands of Dan Radakovich, Coach Swinney, and Coach Brownell. Please make sure they see this. God bless and GO Tigers!

Nathan

Nathan,

I like your idea. In basketball, it would have to be at home since the home team usually wears white and fans don't travel well for basketball. It would be a nice way to open the new coliseum. In football, it makes sense in big road games. It would have been interesting to see how many Tiger fans were in Williams-Brice last season. I would think the idea has to come from the students or the fans. Swinney, Brownell, and Radakovich probably have bigger fish to fry, but I like your idea.

Mickey,

You have two or three stalkers on the blog. I think a couple of these guys have a crush on you. Be careful. They seemed to be obsessed with you.

William

William,

I doubt anyone has a crush on me. They can do a lot better than that. I am too boring for anyone to stalk.

Mickey,

I love the blog, but the email bag is the best. Any thought of doing more than one a week? Thanks for the consideration.

Steve

Steve,

I have heard this suggestion before and will certainly consider it. A friend suggested the other day to just do an email bag every day and let readers ask questions and answer them daily. I have seen other websites do this. It is an interesting concept. Maybe a nice change for the future. Thanks for the suggestion.

Mickey,

Well said on “Ahead of the Plan.” I agree with everything you said.

Clemson sports is going thru a successful time right now, and doing it the “right way”. With coaches creating an atmosphere of excellence on the field, while also promoting academic success. Always proud to be a Tiger as a 1986 graduate. But, if possible, even more so at this time.

Andrew

Andrew,

These are the good times, and I believe football, baseball and men's basketball will be as good or better in 2016-17. We need to enjoy this success because it is not easy but it sure is fun.

Mickey,

It seems that every article you write about Monte Lee you feel the need to bash Jack Leggett, either directly or indirectly. Why can't you just say it was time for a change and the change, so far, has been positive. While I happen to agree a change was needed, there is no need to denigrate Leggett. Coach Lee has a long way to go before he should be compared with Coach Leggett. If Coach Lee accomplishes even half of what Coach Leggett did for Clemson, we can be very proud.

Darrell

Darrell,

Apparently your definition of bash and mine are two different things. I have been easy on Leggett.
