Clemson, SC-Jack Ferguson and Brent Delahoussaye were both named to
the All-ACC men's golf team on Monday. It marked the third straight
year Ferguson has been named to the team, the 12th player in Clemson
history who has been a three-time selection. It marks the 10th
consecutive year that at least two Clemson golfers were named first-team All-ACC.

The two Tigers were joined on the 13-player squad by Ryan Blaum and Nathan Smith of Duke, Mike Barbosa, Chan Song, Nicholas Thompson and Roberto Castro of Georgia Tech, Kevin O'Connell and Brad Tilley of Virginia, Kyle Reifers and Webb Simpson of Wake Forst and Martin Ureta of North Carolina.

Blaum was named the ACC Player of the Year, while Webb
Simpson of Wake Forest was the Freshman of the Year. Rod Myers, who
led Duke to its first ACC Championship since 1966, was the ACC Coach
of the Year. Clemson's Larry Penley had been the selection for that
award each of the last two years.

Ferguson led Clemson in stroke average this year with a 73.70 figure. The senior from Seneca had three top 10 finishes, including
a fourth-place finish at the ACC Tournament three weeks ago. He
also had a top 10 at the Jerry Pate, and at The Ridges. His 72.46
stroke average is fifth best in Clemson history. He has 41 rounds
under par and 21 at par among his 128 career rounds as a Clemson golfer.

Delahoussaye was named to the team for the first time in his career. A transfer from South Carolina, Delahoussaye was second on the Clemson team in stroke average this year with a 74.06 figure. He had a top 10 finish at The Ridges in September and a fourth place finish at the ACC Tournament in April.

Both Ferguson and Delahoussaye will in the Clemson lineup when the Tigers open NCAA Regional play May 19-21 at a site that will be announced on May 9.
