Clemson Soccer Schedules Announced

CLEMSON, SC -- The Clemson men's and women's soccer schedules were released Friday afternoon.
The Clemson Men's Soccer Schedule will feature the six tough Atlantic Coast Conference foes along with non-conference opponents: Hartford, Wofford, Appalachian State, Charleston Southern, South Carolina, Georgia State, Davidson, Furman, and UNC-Charlotte.


Clemson will also play host to the Clemson/Nike Invitational on September 29 and October 1. Clemson, Cal State-Fullerton, Brown, and Furman will participate in the event.


Clemson has an exhibition game at UConn on August 26, and will open the season with a home match on September 3, against Hartford.
The Tigers return seven starters from last year's team that finshed 9-8-2 overall. Trevor Adair will be entering his sixth season at Clemson. He has compiled a 68-30-8 record at Clemson.


The Clemson women's soccer team will play seven ACC schools along with non-conference opponents: South Carolina, Western Carolina, Richmond, Wofford, and Florida. The Lady Tigers will play host to three regular season tournaments as well.
Clemson's season will open on Friday August 25 & 27 as the Lady Tigers play host to the Clemson/Nike Kick-Off Classic. Clemson, Georgia State, Old Dominion, and UCLA will participate in this event.


The Lady Tigers return nine starters coming off a team that was 14-7-2 overall and went to the NCAA Final Eight in 1999. Clemson finished ninth in the final Soccer America poll and sixth in the final NSCAA poll last season.
