CLEMSON -- Tymere Zimmerman's hopes of playing college football this fall at Clemson University took a serious hit when it was learned earlier today that he did not meet the minimum NCAA standard on his SAT exam.

Zimmerman, the talented wide receiver from Marlboro County High School, still can qualify if the score on his last attempt at the ACT meets NCAA standards.

That score should be known sometime during the next two weeks.
