Game Preview: Wake Forest travels to Clemson Memorial Stadium for a Noon challenge
on ESPN2 Saturday, beginning a two-game homestand for the No. 20
Tigers...Clemson is 4-1 at home this season and looks to extend its current win streak
to four games...The last outing between the two squads was in 2006 when the Tigers?
defeated the eventual ACC Champions, 27-17 in Winston-Salem...Since 1977, Clemson
has won 25 out of 30 contests, including a 15-game streak, and has pulled off 10 of the
last 13...Saturday?s contest will feature two great defensive squads as Clemson ranks
third in the country in passing defense and fifth in total defense, allowing just 282 total
yards per game...WR Kenneth Moore headlines the Deacs as the senior ranks second
in the ACC in all-purpose yardage (144.4), while Kevin Marion ranks third nationally in
kick return average with 33.4 per game...Clemson QB Cullen Harper leads the ACC in
passing efficiency and is second in the ACC for passing yards, going 187-of-287 for
2,166 yards in his junior campaign thus far.

Last Time Out: RB C.J. Spiller ran 72 yards for the go-ahead TD and DL Gaines
Adams returned a fumble for a score, helping the then-No. 15 Clemson Tigers rally from
14 points down in the fourth quarter to a 27-17 victory over the eventual ACC Champion
Wake Forest last season...Wake led 17-3 entering the final 15 minutes and looked to
extend its lead to 17 before Sam Swank?s FG attempt turned into an Adams? 66-yard TD,
the momentum-changing score of the fourth period...Spiller finished with 104 yards and
RB James Davis added 95 for the Tigers, who denied the Demon Deacons their first 6-
0 start since 1944...Clemson QB Will Proctor was 20-of-30 passing for 214 yards and a
TD, while Wake?s Skinner was 18-of-23 passing for 169 yards with an
interception...Clemson had 428 total yards to the Demon Deacons? 219.
