Trevor Booker Named ACC Rookie of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Boston College’s Jared Dudley was named as the ACC Player of the Week, while Clemson’s Trevor Booker was tabbed ACC Rookie of the Week.

Dudley averaged 20.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in the Eagles’ two wins last week, including a 73-62 ACC win over No. 23 Maryland. The San Diego, Calif., senior shot 73.9 percent from the field in the two games (17-for-23) including eight-for-12 against the Terps. Dudley has scored 10 or more points in 17 straight games and is fourth in the ACC in scoring (19.3).

Booker scored a career-high 19 points in just 21 minutes in last Tuesday’s 90-66 win over Wofford. The Whitmire, S.C., product hit on eight of 10 from the field and added six rebounds and a blocked shot against the Terriers. Booker has started all 10 games for the undefeated Tigers and is averaging 9.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 65.2 percent from the floor.
