Gallman is a 6-1, 196-pounder who has offers from Clemson, Auburn, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Georgia Tech with Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Florida and Florida State making a big push.

He says that he and his recruiter of record for the Tigers – running backs coach Tony Elliott – have a great relationship.

“It’s perfect,” the Loganville (Ga.) Grayson prospect told TigerNet this week. “He has been to see me, and he even saw me before one of my games last year. He is really cool, and we get along great.”

Gallman said he has in mind what he wants to see this weekend.

“I am going to the Clemson elite junior day this Saturday,” he said. “I want to see the surroundings, the dorms and the coaches. I want to talk to the coaches, and see how I get along with all of them. I have already been to a game in Death Valley, so it will be good to see what it’s like when there isn’t a game.”

Gallman, who rushed 130 times for over 700 yards with eight touchdowns as a junior, said Clemson sits in his top group.

“I think they are at the top right now,” he said. “Along with Alabama, Oklahoma, Georgia and Florida St. But I really like what I’ve seen, and I can't wait to go this weekend.”

He said there are other factors he will need to take into consideration before making his decision, a decision he hopes to make shortly after his senior season.

“I have to look at the education, the surroundings and how far it is away from home,” he said. “Can my mom and dad make it to the games? I also have to take a look at the offense – I really like Clemson’s offense. When I talked to them [Clemson] the last time, they showed me what I would do in their offense, what they would want me to do, and how many rushing touchdowns and yards they had this year. They also told me I probably wouldn’t redshirt and could play right away.”

Gallman said he thinks his attitude on the football field is what sets him apart from other running backs.

“I think people expect a lot from me when I play,” he said. “But when there is any other player competing against me, I am going to try and overcome what they are trying to do to me. I am a ‘do whatever it takes’ kind of guy. I don’t quit.”
