"There are some similarities from last year's game based on our last performances. Last year they had beaten Notre Dame 37-0 before they played us, and we had lost to Wake Forest. This year they have just beaten UAB pretty bad and we just lost to Texas A&M."

"We go into each game with the same objectives of getting better each week and trying to play the best we can. As we have talked as a team we realized how difficult our schedule was and we realized what we were going to have to do. We didn't really lose confidence our first two games because we had played well for 60 minutes in two conference games, but last week we did not perform well."

"It's a necessity right now to play a lot of offensive lineman because we are trying to find the best ones. It's a long season and we have a lot of football left. You can't find all the solutions

over night or in one week or even two weeks so it will take some time for us to find the best ones."

"Our leaders right now are probably a lot the guys we have mentioned before. Tommy Sharpe, Charlie Whitehurst, Airese Currie, Chansi Stuckey, Maurice Fountain, Leroy Hill, and Travis Pugh have all done a good job. To me a leader is a guy who is going to take another guy and get him to play equally as hard as you are playing. The ability to take a guy with you instead of going out and trying to do it yourself."

"We have to address some issues, because some of our responsibility is to prepare these guys for some of life's lessons. Sports and football in particular can often teach you that. It teaches you to

be unselfish, to overcome adversity, and to get back up when you get knocked down. I think we experienced that last year. It was a different team with different chemistry but we still have a lot of

the same players."

"I don't know how this year's team is going to respond yet. Last year's team lost some early and bounced back and had success. Right now I think most teams in college football are going to respond that way. Florida State lost their first game and responded well and came back and won. We are trying to come back after two tough losses, one where we lost in the last seconds and one where we weren't as competitive as we had hope we would be."

"This team has been on each end of the spectrum so far emotionally. . This team has been through a lot already without a doubt. We will probably scale back a little this week as far as practice time. I go

back and evaluate myself and look at what we are doing. It didn't seem like we had our legs underneath us in last week's game."
