CLEMSON RECRUITING

Tigers to Host Two Prospects on Official Visits This Weekend

by -

According to Mickey Plyler, Clemson will host two prospects this weekend on official visits: DE-LB Antonio Reynolds and OL Ell Ash. Plyler is the host of the "Overdrive" from 3-5 PM EST on WCCPFM-104.9 (wccpfm.com).

Antonio Reynolds, DE-LB (6-4, 225, 4.6) Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, VA.

Antonio Reynolds is considered by some to be on the same level as Virginia's Ahmad Brooks who was Hargrave Military's prized recruit from last year. Reynolds signed with Miami (FL) out of high school but ended up at Hargrave after a problem with his academic transcript. He had 107 tackles including five sacks in his senior campaign. Clemson assistant John Lovett is recruiting Reynolds for the Tigers.

Ell Ash, OL (6-6, 270) Willingboro HS in Willingboro, NJ.

Ell Ash has visited Pitt and is also looking to visiting Tennessee and North Carolina. He also has offers from N.C. State, and Rutgers. Clemson assistant John Lovett is recruiting Ash for the Tigers.

Previous Official Visits for the Tigers

1 DT Cory Groover 6-3, 282 Summit, MS (Committed to Clemson)

2 DT Markell Thompson 6-7, 285 Summit, MS – (Tigers seemingly have backed off – leaning to Florida)

3 QB Jordan Steffy 6-1, 205 Leola, PA – (Committed to Maryland)
