CLEMSON -- Clemson will have four prospects on campus this weekend which bring the Tigers up to 47 official visits for this year. The NCAA allows 56 total official visits per recruiting year.

In other Clemson recruiting news…..


Clemson commitment DL Tony McDaniel (6-7, 275) has scheduled a visit to South Carolina this weekend. Also reports are another Clemson commitment DB Brian Staley (5-10, 185) will visit South Carolina this weekend, but his coach at Georgia Military does not believe he will.


As expected the state of South Carolina’s No. 5 prospect WR Noah Whiteside (6-0, 175) from Greenville committed to USC on Thursday. Clemson visited with Whiteside on Friday, but he remains firm to USC.


Running back Andre Calendar (6-0 190) of West Orange, NJ has committed to Boston College. He visited Clemson on January 10th.
