While there are still plenty of questions to be answered this year, Coach Dabo Swinney and Clemson could add a lot of credibility to the program by beating an SEC foe on the road early in the year. It's been a long time since Clemson beat an Auburn team. You have to go back to 1951 to find the last Clemson win in the series. You could say we are due. However, a loss at Auburn and not only would the ACC take another hit, but most people would feel like they are seeing the same old Clemson team. Good enough to win most games, but not the big ones. Controlling the clock might be the biggest factor in this ballgame. Cam Newton looks to be headed towards a great year and Clemson would serve itself well by keeping the ball out of his hands. Newton has been effective in the mid-level passing game, but it's been his feet that have done the most damage this year. Tune in to see if your Tigers have enough to beat their Tigers on the road this Saturday.
