Question-August prediction-Where will C.J. Byrd go?

Answer-The five finalist are set. It is only August so please understand this is very early. However, I can't see Southern Cal. That is the longest shot. Florida has a shot but I personally think they have a little room to make up. It is my opinion that FSU, UGA and Clemson are the top three. If today was signing day and I had to guess I would say Georgia and Clemson are the top two. Again this is just an educated guess: Clemson 31%, UGA 29%, FSU 20%, Florida 15%,So Cal 5%. Sounds like a political poll.

Question-Who are the sleepers in the class in South Carolina?

Answer-In today's recruiting industry you have websites, newspapers and radio shows covering recruiting. I am not sure there is a such thing as a sleeper anymore. However, each year Clemson and USC will find a player or two that is not on their list now. We have tried to highlight some of those type players in the last two weeks. One maybe be Will Ford. I have said earlier that Ford of Traveler's Rest ran an incredible time at Clemson's camp earlier this summer.

Question-What does Rashaad Jackson and Xavier Littleberry getting in mean to this year's team?

Answer-It means the NCAA did the right thing. It gave two kids a chance at an education. It also means more depth on the defensive line and maybe at tight end. In the end, I think both red-shirt but both will get a much needed year in the program and in the weight room.

Editor's Note: I was talking to one of the members of the Clemson staff on Monday and he said Akeem Robinson is a man-child. He said Robinson is by far the best looking newcomer and he looks like he is ready to contribute.
