4. Team A defeats Team B and is ranked lower, and more than five positions below Team B - Team B earns the BCS bid.

Clemson

NC State

Wake Forest

After two consecutive open dates, the Deacons return to action to host Navy Saturday in Groves Stadium this coming Saturday ... the last time Wake Forest had at least 20 days off in between games was in 1928 when the Deacs played at Mercer on Nov. 29 and then finished the regular season Christmas day at Miami (Fla.) ...
