, the 4-star 2014 prospect out of Lake Charles (LA) Barbe was able to see Morris’ offense first hand while he was in town for Clemson’s annual Orange and White Game two weeks ago.

“The visit to Clemson was great! It was a very beautiful campus and city, and I spent a lot of quality time with the coaches,” Quinn told TigerNet last week. “Coach Morris’ offense is definitely appealing to me because they do a great job getting the ball to their playmakers in space.”

Through the first three years of his high school career, Quinn hauled in 247 passes for 4,649 yards and 47 touchdowns.

The 6-1, 200-pounder said that Morris’ style of offense looks familiar, and it’s that type of offense that has helped him post his big numbers.

“Our offense is very similar to what Clemson runs,” Quinn said. “I have been very fortunate that God blessed me with talent. I also have great coaches and teammates that put me in position to be successful.”

Quinn said building relationships are important to him as his recruiting process continues to develop, and he hopes to see the Clemson coaches in person later this spring.

“I have a great relationship with the coaches. I believe they are coming down to see me during the spring evaluation period,” Quinn said.

It’s very difficult to get recruits out of the state of Louisiana, but Quinn said he is willing to relocate if he finds the right offensive system.

“I want to go to college and play football wherever I best fit in, regardless of where that may be,” he said.

In addition to Clemson, Quinn has already visited LSU, Alabama, Texas A&M, Texas, Texas Tech, and Ole Miss.

Although he isn’t ready to announce an abbreviated list of favorites, Quinn said the Tigers will make the cut.

“I have narrowed my list down some but I’m not ready to say anything publicly at this time,” he said. “Obviously Clemson is one of my top choices, as are the places I have visited and plan to visit.”

From his sophomore year to junior year, Quinn almost doubled his numbers, hauling in 115 catches for 2,141 yards and 26 touchdowns.

As a sophomore, he caught 67 passes for 1,220 yards and 12 touchdowns, while rushing 65 times for 483 yards and 11 touchdowns.

During his freshman season, he had 65 catches 1,228 yards and nine touchdowns.
