Birmingham, AL quarterback Tribble Reese who committed to the Tigers in December took an official visit to Ole Miss this weekend but still is firm with his commitment to the Tigers.

“It basically just reaffirmed my commitment to Clemson,” said Reese. “I love Clemson and everything about it. Ole Miss has a lot to offer and someone is going to have great time there. I told Coach Cutcliffe in my exit interview that I would sit down and weigh the pro and cons which I will with my parents, but it is going to be tough for them to overcome it.”

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound quarterback even talked to his Clemson recruiter Dabo Swinney while in Oxford.

“I talked to Coach Swinney on my visit on Saturday. He was telling me how he just finished running down the hill and all that good stuff. It kind of got me pumped up. But I was on my visit there (Ole Miss) so I couldn’t get too excited.”

Reese said Clemson and Ole Miss both have small town atmospheres which he loves, but Clemson has that little extra that makes it special.

“Ole Miss is kind of like Clemson in that it does have that small town thing, but they don’t have a hill to run down and everything. Clemson is just incredible - bottom line.”

Reese will take a few days to talk over his final decision with his family before more than likely calling Ole Miss to tell them he will be going to Clemson. The Ole Miss visit will be the final one for Reese.

“No fifth visit. I’m going to wrap it up. Believe it or not the recruiting process does wear you out.”

This season Reese had 2353 yards and 24 touchdowns passing this season with 4 interceptions. He also excels in the classroom and recently scored a 1390 on the SAT.
