Recruiting: FSU Win Helps Tigers With Brooks Foster

Brooks Foster

Wide Receiver

Boiling Springs, SC (Boiling Springs HS)

6'3", 190 lbs

Early in the season, Boiling Springs wide receiver Brooks Foster had offers from
schools from all over the Southeast. Both Clemson and South Carolina
were among the schools who made offers, but Foster was looking to
leave the state, and was highly interested in Kentucky and North Carolina.

With Clemson's recent win over Florida State, however, the Tigers may
have helped their chances of keeping the 6'3", 190 lb. Foster in state.

"I knew that Clemson would come out and play hard, but I was still kind
of surprised with the score," Foster said. "I already liked Clemson, but
being in that atmosphere and seeing them play like that helped me stay
interested in them."

With his high school season recently coming to an end, Foster is going
to take some time to reflect on his choices, and said that he is still wide
open about his options.

Regardless of what happens with Coach Tommy Bowden after this
season, Foster said it wouldn't have an impact on his choice.

"I will know what school I want to go when the time is right," Foster
said. "What happens to Coach Bowden wouldn't change my mind, but he
is going to be there next season."
