I am benching about 260 pounds. What were your offers? I have offers from Clemson, South Carolina, Middle Tennessee, and Duke . Auburn and Georgia Tech are close to offering. How did Clemson find out about you? Well I got one letter. I had always grown up liking Clemson, and I wanted to go check the campus out and see how everything was up there. So we went to one of their camps. How do you see yourself fitting in with the program? Well right now I am sort of familiar with the quarterback situation up there. I know Charlie Whitehurst will be a redshirt sophomore. Next year I don’t know if I will redshirt or not. But that should leave me in a position to try to play for a starting spot as a sophomore. Do you play any other sports? I play some basketball. Are your academics in order? Yes. Right now I have a 3.5 gpa. I made a 910 on the SAT but I am retaking it in October. What are your strengths? I have good accuracy and good arm strength. I can read defenses well and I make the right decisions. I know when to tuck the ball and run or throw it down the field. What are your weaknesses? I’d like to work on my speed. Right now I am at a 4.8. I’d like to get it down to a 4.6. That’s what I am going to really be working hard on This summer we have been working out 4 days a week. How did your team do last year?
Last year we went 8 and 3. We got beat in the state playoffs in the first round. What were your statistics? 65 for 130 for 13 Tds and 3 ints with over 1000 yards in a wing t offense.
