Recruiting Analyst Mickey Plyler on Timmons: "Timmons might be
one of the five best prospects in South Carolina. This is a
prospect that has it all. Timmons is a good looking linebacker that has so
many positives. Coaches love the way he drops into coverage and the way he
plays in space. Timmons is a terrific athlete. There are not too many
prospects that have offers from schools like Michigan, Tennessee and
Florida. Timmons has created a ton of interest from college coaches that I
talk to and this recruiting battle should be very interesting as the
in-state programs try to close the borders on this prospect.""
