This time I have some players I am going to hang with, and I am also going to text Sammy [Watkins] tonight to see if we can hang while I am there.” Adams said that he has a great relationship with all of the Clemson coaches, and the message from the coaches is the same every time. “They want me there. I know that,” he said. “They tell me they can see me playing right away.” Adams said there are other things that he likes about Clemson. “I like everything about the school, really,” he said. “There is a lot of tradition there with The Rock and running down the hill. I like the defense. Just everything.” Adams is the second-rated prospect in the state of Georgia – behind Nkemdiche – but is the kind of defensive talent that can be a difference-maker for any school he attends. He also told TigerNet that he wants to shoot for that number one ranking, currently held by Nkemdiche. “I have the potential to be the best player,” he said. “I am working hard to be the best. I want to be, and I am not going to stop working hard until I am.” As a junior, he recorded 84 tackles and 10 sacks and led the nation with 45 tackles for loss. As a sophomore, he had 73 tackles and 15 sacks.
