Notes on Clemson's remaining prospects from "The 2005 Recruiting Show brought to you by George Coleman Ford of Travelers Rest." You can hear the show live on 104.9 FM or at www.wccpfm.com on Sunday's 8-10 PM.


Clemson currently has 23 commitments and could take 3 more prospects at the most.



Eugene Hayes LB 6-1 215 Greenville, FL AUB,GA10/2,TN 1/14,CL1/21, FSU1/28

- He was the only official visitor for the Tigers this weekend.

- Committed to Tennessee last weekend

- Visit ran Saturday thru Monday so he will not be home till Monday.

- Scheduled to visit Florida State next weekend.



Mike Davis RB Columbia, SC KY12/10,NC12/3,CL1/14,SC1/21,MARY1/28

- Good trip to South Carolina this weekend but did not commit.

- He will go to Maryland next weekend.



James McKinney DT Louisville, KY

NEB11/26,LOU12/17, CL12/3, MCH12/10,FL1/21


- Visited Florida this weekend but did not commit.

- Clemson will be in his home this week along with several other schools

- Michigan and Clemson are the current leaders and he could have a decision this week.



Hivera Green DE Conway, SC SC1/7,CL1/14,VT1/21

- Visits VT next weekend

- No leader at this point

- On South Carolina: “They got a great coaching staff. They are going to have a good team in the future.”

- On Clemson: “I felt like they are solid. They are going to have a solid year. They have some good commitments. They just need a few pieces to the puzzle.”



Larry Cox DE Fort Valley, GA CL1/28

- 70 tackles and 7 sacks in his senior season

- Tigers are looking to either sign and place or just place.

- Will visit Clemson this weekend. Clemson recruiter is assistant Jack Hines.

- Clemson is the leader over Florida.



Jamie Robinson DB Rock Hill, SC FSU1/7,CL1/14,VT1/28

- No. 1 Prospect in the state will leave the state.

- Has eliminated Clemson.

- 5 coaches from Florida State visited him over the weekend and we will decide between FSU and VT who he visits next weekend.



Chris Chancellor DB Miami, FL RUT,OSU,FSU1/7,CL1/14,SF1/21 and Demerick Chancellor ATH Miami, FL RUT10/29,TN12/17,CL1/14,SF1/21

- Brothers visited South Florida but did not commit.

- Reports are Demerick remains committed to Clemson but says the brothers will go to the same school.

- Tommy Bowden will visit the brothers this week.
