6' 4 1/2", 290 lbs.

Bench presses 305 lbs.


As a junior, Ben Gabbard allowed just one sack for a team that went 9-2,

winning county and region championships. He was named first team

all-county by the Washington Post and Baltimore Sun, and

received all-state honorable mention.

Gabbard is currently being recruited by Clemson, Maryland, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Illinois,

Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Penn State, Oregon, and the Naval Academy. He

has received offers from Clemson and Townsend State.

"I am leaning towards Clemson right now," Gabbard said. "Not only

because they offered, but from an academic standpoint, they have a very

good reputation in engineering, which is what I hope to study."

Gabbard plans on visiting Clemson in mid-December.
