OFFENSIVE BACK - Chris Weinke, QB, Florida State

A 6-5, 229-pound senior, Weinke completed 11-of-15 passes for 234 yards and three touchdowns while playing just one series in the 2nd half in Florida State's 59-7 win over Maryland last Thursday night. The St. Paul, Minn., native became FSU's all-time leader in TD passes with 58 and moved into a tie for third place on the NCAA all-time list with his 25th straight win as a starter.

OFFENSIVE LINEMAN - Tarlos Thomas, OT, Florida State

Thomas, a 6-5, 320-pound senior out of Monticello, Fla., graded out at 90 percent for his play during Florida State's 59-7 win over Maryland last Thursday night. Thomas did not allow a quarterback sack or a pressure and helped clear the way for the Seminoles to compile a season-high 260 yards rushing.

DEFENSIVE LINEMAN - Yubrenal Isabelle, MLB, Virginia

A senior co-captain from Bluefield, W. Va., Isabelle graded out at 94% overall as he turned in one of his best all-around performances of the season in Saturday's win over Wake Forest. The 6-1, 237-pound junior led the team in tackles with 11, including six solos. He made two tackles behind the line, including a quarterback sack, and broke up one pass as Virginia held Wake Forest to 307yards of total offense.

DEFENSIVE BACK - Chris Young, SS, Georgia Tech

Young, a 6-0, 201-pound junior strong safety from Senoia, Ga., made two key plays in Georgia Tech's 42-28 win over North Carolina with a blocked punt that Tech recovered for a touchdown and an interception in the end zone to thwart a Carolina scoring effort. Young also contributed three tackles, one sack for minus-nine yards and one pass breakup.

SPECIALIST - Pat Newton, Florida State

Newton, a 5-11, 185-pound sophomore, turned in a solid all-around effort in Florida State's win at Maryland last Thursday night. The St. Petersburg, Fla., product recorded a total of five special teams tackles, including three solo efforts and led the Seminoles with two tackles on kickoffs inside the 25 yard line.

ROOKIE - Keith Kelly, RB, Clemson

Kelly, a 6-0, 215-pound freshman from Walterboro, S.C., rushed 12 times for 84 yards in Clemson's 52-22 over Duke. Kelly played one play in the first half and had 10 of his 12 carries in the fourth quarter. He now has 241 yards rushing and a 5.6 average for his four games of action so far this year.
