, the 2013 wide receiver prospect out of Alpharetta (Milton) Ga., took a visit to Clemson last weekend along with his brother, who wanted to see what all of the hype of a recruiting visit to Clemson was all about.

Jenkins already has an offer, and his brother already has a scholarship.

Ryan’s older brother is Clemson defensive back Martin Jenkins, who finally got to the live the life of a recruit during Clemson’s Junior Day activities this past weekend.

“It was really exciting,” Ryan told TigerNet. “They didn’t tell me anything I didn’t already know. I love going up to Clemson and seeing what the coaches have to say.”

Having Martin along for the ride made it even better.

“My brother went on the visit with me, and that was pretty cool,” he said. “He wanted to see what the recruits see. When he was being recruited and Clemson had a junior day, he wasn’t being recruited by really anybody. He didn’t even get offered until late and wasn’t really recruited by Clemson.”

Ryan said that head coach Dabo SwinneyDabo Swinney

also had a message for the recruits.

“Coach Swinney, he gave a big speech in front all of the recruits,” he said. “He told all of us that he feels like Clemson has the potential to win the National Championship in the next couple of years.”

Jenkins has offers from Clemson and Louisville, and hopes to have a decision by late summer.

“I don’t really have a leader right now,” he said. “I am wide open, but I hope to narrow things down by this spring and maybe make a decision by July.”
