IPTAY Reaches Goal of 100 Heisman Level Donors

by -

Clemson, SC - The IPTAY Scholarship Fund has announced that it has reached its goal of 100 Heisman Level donors for the 2005-06 year. The Heisman Level donors have pledged to give $10,000 annually. The drive for 100 Heisman donors was started by IPTAY Executuve Director Bert Henderson, who wanted to duplicate IPTAY founder Rupert Fikes goal of finding 100 donors to contribute $10 annually beginning in 1934.

"This is an exciting day for IPTAY and Clemson Athletics, said Henderson. These 100 donors have made significant pledges that will aid the Athletic Department and the University in its goal of becoming a top-20 public university. We are thankful for these and all of our IPTAY donors who continue to support Clemson Athletics."
