Help the Tigers go to the Meineke Car Care Bowl |
It has come to the attention of TigerNet that despite a 6-6 record, the Meineke Car Care Bowl in Charlotte is very interested in Clemson as a candidate for their bowl game.
The 2010 Meineke Car Care Bowl, which is a College Football matchup of the #2 selection from the Big East Conference against the #4 pick from the Atlantic Coast Conference, is expected to continue to set attendance and TV viewership records as it has done over the past five years, and bowl officials could be swayed to invite Clemson. Clemson fans have shown great enthusiasm in the past for doing whatever it takes to get their team into a bowl game, so we're listing the contact information of the members of the bowl committee below. If you would like for Clemson to play closer to home over the holidays, fax them, email them, or call them, and let them know that Clemson fans would be willing to come up and spend the night and watch the Tigers play on New Years Eve. Obviously, no one is excited about what took place on Saturday evening, but TigerNet has been told contacting the bowl could be the difference. If you would like to help the Tigers out during this difficult period, please consider contacting the bowl committee on behalf of the Tigers.
