Florida Prospect Commits to Tigers

CLEMSON, SC -- According to MickyPlyler.com, Clemson has picked up a commitment from Tallahassee, FL running back/linebacker Cliff Harrell. As a junior, the North Florida Christian prospect was named second team all-state at linebacker with 163 tackles. However, Harrell is being recruited as a running back for the next level.

The 6-foot-1 and 240 pound Harrell will visit Clemson unofficially this weekend for the South Carolina game and will also make an official visit to Clemson on January 12. He has canceled a visit to Syracuse scheduled for December 1.

Harrell says he also had offers from LSU, Auburn, Syracuse, and Central Florida. He is the nephew of Seattle Seahawk Robert Alexander.
