says he’s ready to get to Clemson and get started on his collegiate career.

The Clemson coaching staff hosted the remainder of the 2015 commits this weekend, and the 3-star defensive tackle out of Greenwood (SC) Emerald said it was good opportunity to see Clemson in a different light after spending parts of three days on campus.

“We got there Friday evening. We just kind of hung out and got to see everything,” Cervenka told TigerNet Sunday. “They showed us the renovated dorms we will be staying in, they showed us the academic centers and we go to go to the basketball game and I got to watch us beat Wake Forest. That was really exciting - it came down to the last second and so it was a fun game to watch. The biggest thing was just being able to hang out with the other commits and players and just kind of see what things are like and just kind of get a different feel from the one you get when you're not on an official visit.”

“They are good guys. They are really cool,” he said. “They really don't talk a lot, and that's kind of the way it is even when they are with us. But they are really cool.”

What was the highlight of the visit?

“Any time I have a chance to be in Clemson the whole time is fun,” Cervenka said. “Going to Coach Swinney's lake house and having dinner was really cool. I really enjoyed that, because I have never been out there.”

Clemson graduates several mainstays along the defensive line, including defensive tackles Grady Jarrett, Josh Watson and DeShawn Williams. However, Cervenka says he hasn’t talked to the staff about early playing time – he just wants to arrive on campus and go to work and says that any playing time will have to be earned.

“My goal is to go in there and do what I do and whatever happens, happens,” he said. “We haven't really talked about it. We haven't really sat down and I don't think they have really sat down with anybody and said, 'Hey, our plan is to redshirt you.' I think their whole game plan for the guys that they have got coming in is to see where they are, and whoever the best performers will be will earn a spot.”
