Donnell Clark Cleared To Practice

Clemson, SC - Incoming freshman Donnell Clark was cleared Thursday afternoon by the NCAA. Clark will join the team Friday when Clemson will conduct its first full-squad practice at 9:15 AM. Clark, a native of Griffin, GA, is a 6-2, 245-pound linebacker.

Bernard Rambert, who did not report Thursday due to a death in his family, is expected to be on hand for the Friday AM practice as well.

Three-year letterman in football... led Griffin High School with 99 tackles his senior season... had two interceptions and four sacks... recorded four tackles for loss... was the team captain for Griffin High and for the Georgia squad in the annual Georgia/Florida All-Star game... had seven tackles and three assists in that game... two-year lettermen in wrestling where he recently won the region championship... three-year letterman in track and field where he throws the shot put and the discus... two-star prospect by ranked as the 54th-best tight end in nation three-star prospect and is the 53rd-best inside linebacker by that web site... played under Coach Steve DeVoursney... born 12-7-83... chose Clemson over Georgia, FSU, and Auburn.
