Complete 2000 ACC Football Schedule

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The 2000 Atlantic Coast Conference football schedule was released today by ACC Commissioner John Swofford. The schedule is comprised of 64 games, including 36 conference matchups, over a span of 14 weeks.

Florida State will bring up the curtain on the league's 48th season when they take on Mountain West Conference champion Brigham Young in the Pigskin Classic in Jacksonville, Fla., on Saturday, August 26. Included in the non-conference schedule are nine games against eight teams - Brigham Young (twice), East Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, Marshall, Miami and Virginia Tech - that earned post-season bowl bids this year.
