Talk about playing for Pickens High Head Coach Andy Tweito and and former NFL

coach Sam Wyche.

"You learn so much from those two. They show you so much character and

discipline. They show you how to play with your heart.  They show you how

to just go out there and use what God gave you.  Coach Wyche being a legend

from the pros..that's it right there. He will show you everything you need to

know.  Coach Tweito has got experience that is like a pro. You can talk to

them about anything.  They are like dads to us.   "

Talk about your athletic family history.

"When I was one year old my dad died of leukemia, but he was an outstanding

basketball player.  He could have went to a lot of colleges. My cousins

were great football players - All-Americans at Pickens High School. I had a

cousin named Zion Mckinney that was at the University of South Carolina. I just

came from a great deal athletes - basketball, football, and baseball."

What are some of your strengths as an offensive lineman?

"I'm good at pass blocking. I can move my feet real good and I got good

upper body strength."

What some things you need to improve on?

"Strength and some better quickness. Reading the defenses and learn the

speed of the defense ends because they can get by you pretty quick - learning

their moves.  I just need to do a lot of studying on a lot of things."

Talk about your decision to commit to Clemson.

"Clemson has been like a home to me since I was little. The recruiting

thing just got hectic. People would call late at night. Everybody is trying to

call you - news media and everything.  So I decided to just go with my

heart and where I feel comfortable. My top three were Georgia, Carolina and

Clemson. All of them had great coaches, great players, and great environment I

just want to see which one felt like home to me and Clemson felt like home to

me."

Are you going to take any other visits?

"No. I told all the coaches I had too many home visits. I don't want my head

filled up with a bunch of stuff.  Some stuff can be true but some of it

can't. Something could change between right now and then but right now it's

pretty much just Clemson.
