College Sports Central To Be Live On-location in Clemson

Birmingham, Al -- COLLEGE SPORTS Southeast’s original nightly news show, College Sports Central, will be live on-location in Clemson, S.C., at the Madren Center, Thursday, Aug. 24, 2000, at 7:30 p.m. EST.

The show will include interviews with head coach Tommy Bowden, defensive coordinator Reggie Herring and offensive coordinator Rich Rodriguez. Clemson great Jim Phillips will host the program along veteran anchor and co-host Doug Bell. The pair will take e-mail questions during the live program to deliver the most in-depth Clemson football information possible.

The interactive live broadcast will be available on television, radio and the Internet. The webcast of the live show will be available at www.collegesportscentral.com.

“We are excited about being on-location at a school with so much enthusiasm and football support,” said Executive Producer of College Sports Central, Rob Martin. “We are looking forward to utilizing three mediums to deliver (radio, TV, Internet) the live broadcast.”

The live broadcast from Clemson will mark the third on-location telecast of the year for the College Sports Central news team. The show has been live on-location at Auburn (Aug.15), and Ole Miss (Aug. 17), and will be on-location at Alabama (Aug. 29).

COLLEGE SPORTS Southeast is a cable television and interactive web network totally dedicated to college sports in the Southeast.
