With National Signing Day less than a week away and the quiet period beginning this weekend, the Clemson coaches are out making their last visits.

On Thursday, Clemson receivers coach and recruiting coordinator Jeff Scott went down to Callaway High School in Georgia to see junior running back prospect Quan Bray play basketball. Head coach Dabo Swinney was in Middletown, DE, to see OL prospect Gifford Timothy (6-6, 288).

Following the visit with Timothy, Swinney and defensive line coach Dan Brooks traveled down to see 3-star TE recruit Ethan Farmer. Farmer (6-3, 265) has narrowed his choices down to Clemson and North Carolina, and has said that he will make his decision on signing day. North Carolina has a slight lead over the Tigers.

Swinney then made the swing over to Lenoir, NC, and checked in on ATH Darius Lipford. Lipford is still committed to the Tar Heels.

On Friday, Scott is heading to Gaffney to do an in-home visit with Joe Craig, then will see super receiver Charone Peake play basketball for Dorman on Friday night.

On Saturday, Clemson coaches will be in home with linebacker Justin Parker of Beaufort.

There is still not a lot of movement on the Keenan Allen front, but it does appear that he will now take his official visit to California this weekend. Allen and his brother, former Buffalo quarterback Zach Maynard, will be making the trip together.

Also, D.J. Howard has confirmed that he will take a recruiting visit to Kentucky this weekend. The Auburn commitment took an official visit to Clemson this past weekend, and came away saying that Auburn was still in the lead.
