a 2:30 time period against Maryland in 1988.

Thomas (19), Eric Sampson (15), John Leake (14), Nick Eason (7,
including 2 sacks).

*Clemson is eighth in the nation in interceptions by its defense with
15. The Tigers are 21st in the nation in forcing turnovers.

*Charlie Whitehurst completed 9-15 passes for 148 yards and two
