Clemson Fall and Winter Sport Award Winners Announced

CLEMSON, SC--A total of 35 Clemson student-athletes, managers, trainers and cheerleaders for the fall and winter sports were recognized for most valuable, and most improved awards in their respective sports and activities at the annual Clemson Orange and White Spring Football game at Clemson Saturday.

Michael Hamlin was named the recipient of the Morrow Defensive Most Valuable Football Player and Chris Chancellor and Chris Clemons was the winner of the most valuable defensive players in the South Carolina game. C.J. Spiller was named the Offensive Most Valuable Football Player and the starting offensive line was the recipient of the Most Valuable Offensive Football Players in the South Carolina Game.

The men's basketball awards along with the men's soccer awards will be announced at their annual banquets next week.

In women's basketball, Le Le Hardy was named the Most Valuable Player and Jasmine Tate was the recipient of the Most Improved trophy.
