Clemson Fall and Winter Sport Award Winners Announced

CLEMSON, SC--A total of 38 Clemson student-athletes, managers, trainers and cheerleaders for the fall and winter sports will be recognized for most valuable, and most improved awards in their respective sports and activities at the annual Clemson Orange and White Spring Football game at Clemson Saturday.

Leroy Hill was named the recipient of the Morrow Defensive Most Valuable Football Player and was also the winner of the most valuable defensive player in the South Carolina game. Airese Currie was named the Offensive Most Valuable Football Player and Reggie Merriweather was the recipient of the Most Valuable Offensive Football Player in the South Carolina Game.

Sharrod Ford is this year's winner of the Most Valuable Basketball Award and Vernon Hamilton is the recipient of the Most Improved Player award.

In women's basketball, Reggie Maddox was named the Most Valuable Player and Tasha Taylor is the recipient of the Most Improved trophy.
