Clemson Announces Football Game Designations for 2010

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson Athletic Department has announced the football game designations for the seven home games to be held at Memorial Stadium during the 2010 season. The Tigers’ season opening game against North Texas on September 4 will be Hall of Fame Day and Youth Day, while the game against Presbyterian on September 11 will be Family Day and Youth Day.

Clemson’s ACC season opener against Miami on October 2 will be Homecoming. The game against Maryland on October 16 will be Football Reunion Day and the October 23rd contest against Georgia Tech is designated as IPTAY Day.

The Tigers will celebrate Military Appreciation Day on November 6 versus N.C. State. Clemson’s final regular season game against South Carolina on November 27 will be Solid Orange Day.

In addition to the football home game designations, the Clemson Athletic Department would also like to notify fans of two additional important events coming up in the fall of 2010. Tigerama, Clemson’s Homecoming pep rally, will be held on Friday, October 1 and Rock the ‘John, the Tigers’ version of Midnight Madness for basketball, will take place on Friday, October 15, 2010.

Also, as a reminder for Tiger fans, the 2010 Spring Football Game will be held on Saturday, April 10 at 4:00 PM at Memorial Stadium.
