Clemson - Georgia Tech Game Moved to 3:30

Greensboro, N.C. – The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday that this Saturday’s North Carolina at Miami and Clemson at Georgia Tech football game times have been switched due to damage to the light standards at the Orange Bowl caused by Hurricane Wilma.

The North Carolina at Miami game will be played in the Orange Bowl at 12:00 noon and will be televised by ESPN2, while the Clemson at Georgia Tech game will move back to 3:30 p.m. and will be televised by ESPN.

ACC Commissioner John D. Swofford:

“In talking with Miami officials it was evident that lights in the Orange Bowl would not be available and consequently a 3:30 start on Saturday was simply not workable. Our television partners at ESPN as well as officials at Clemson, Georgia Tech and North Carolina were very cooperative in switching time slots for these two games. We are extremely appreciative of the efforts by these four schools to quickly resolve this issue.”
