OFFENSIVE BACKS - Thomas Jones (RB) Virginia

For the fifth time this season, Virginia's Thomas Jones has been tabbed as the ACC Offensive Back of the Week. Jones, a 5-10, 207-pound senior out of Big Stone Gap, Va., and the nation's leading rusher with a 165.1 yards per game average, rushed for 213 yards on 39 carries (5.5 yards per carry) and two touchdowns in the Cavaliers' 45-38 win over seventh-ranked Georgia Tech Saturday. The 213-yard effort was Jones' third 200-yard game of the season which is a new ACC mark for most 200-yard games in a season. In addition it was his second career 200-yard game vs. the Yellow Jackets, making him the first ACC player to have two 200-yard games against one team.

OFFENSIVE LINEMAN - Todd Boyle (T) NC State

NC State's Todd Boyle, a senior tackle from Staunton, Va., earned offensive lineman of the week honors after earning a season-high coaches grade of 1.98 in the Wolfpack's 30-17 win over Maryland. Boyle's grade roughly translates out to 95 percent. Boyle keyed an offensive line effort that paved the way for NC State to accumulate 504 yards of total offense against a Terp defense that entered the game ranked 44th in the nation in total defense.

DEFENSIVE LINEMAN - Keith Adams (ILB) Clemson

Clemson inside linebacker Keith Adams had perhaps the finest all-around game in Clemson history for a Tiger linebacker. The sophomore who was named one of 15 semifinalists for the National Defensive Player of the Year Award by the Football News last Thursday, set three records and tied another in Clemson's 58-7 win over Duke. The Marietta, Ga., product had an all-time Clemson record four quarterback sacks and an all-time record six total tackles for loss for -41 yards in the Tigers victory.

DEFENSIVE BACK - Robert Carswell (CB) Clemson

Clemson junior cornerback Robert Carswell turned in another outstanding defensive effort in Clemson's win over Duke. The Lithonia, Ga., junior had two interceptions in the first half to help Clemson jump to a 31-7 halftime lead. That gave him five thefts for the year, second in the ACC and now 16th in the nation. In addition, Carswell had seven tackles in the game and was a major reason Duke completed just 12-31 passes for 171 yards and had four interceptions.

SPECIALIST - Matthew Burdick (PK) Wake Forest

Wake Forest's Matthew Burdick accounted for 13 of Wake Forest's 19 points against North Carolina, kicking a career-high four field goals (on four attempts) and adding one extra point in the Deacons' 19-3 win. The Winston-Salem, N.C., senior booted field goals of 47, 29, 35 and 38 yards in Wake Forest's first win over the Tar Heels since 1989.

ROOKIE - Chris Williams (DB) Virginia

Virginia freshman defensive back Chris Williams had seven tackles, including three solo efforts in Virginia's 45-38 win over seventh-ranked Georgia Tech. Going up against the nation's top passer and one of the top receivers in the country, the Newport News, Va., product keyed a defensive secondary effort that limited Tech to 233 yards passing and held Dez White to two catches and 25 yards.
