Carroll twins transfer from Clemson

by - Correspondent -

Jeremy Carroll said that he and his brother Jason will be transferring to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Speaking from his home in Dalton, Georgia, Jeremy didn't give any specific reasons for transferring.

Jeremy (6-5, 300) red-shirted last season and was listed at a second-team offensive guard after the spring. Jason (6-6, 310) signed with Clemson before the 1998 season, but did not enroll until the spring semester of this year. Jason was listed as a center, but did not crack the depth chart during the spring. Jason chose Clemson over Georgia Tech and Notre Dame.

The Carroll twins would have become only the second set of twins to play for Clemson. Andy and Peter Ford was the other set.
