CLEMSON -- Clemson continues to finish strong in recruiting with the commitment of Georgia 5A Player of the year Warner Robins, GA quarterback Chansi Stuckey according to mickeyplyler.com. The 6-foot 170-pound Stuckey had an excellent senior season in which he passed for 1286 yards and 13 scores while also rushing for 1008 yards and 10 touchdowns. Stuckey also led Northside to its first ever state title game. In that game Stuckey rushed 16 times for 135 yards and one touchdown in a 12-7 losing effort to defending state Class 5A champion Lilburn Parkview who was ranked as the No. 4 high school team in the country according to some lists.

“His quickness is what sets him apart,” said recruiting analyst Mickey Plyler. “He has a tremendous ability to change directions. The biggest compliment you can give Chansi Stuckey is he had offers from FL, TN, FSU, AU, GA, GT, USC, CL, AL, LSU, MIA, and others. I don’t know of any coach that saw him that didn’t like him.” Stuckey chose the Tigers over Tennessee and Georgia Tech all of which he visited. Stuckey also excelled playing AAU basketball with the Middle Georgia Mustangs and has said before he wouldn’t mind playing both basketball and football in college. Clemson assistant Rodney Allison recruited Stuckey for the Tigers.
