by -

Clemson, SC-Clemson Head Coach Tommy Bowden welcomed his sixth Clemson football team to campus on Thursday. All players were present and accounted for on Thursday evening. The Tigers begin practice on Friday at 3:30 PM at the practice fields behind the Jervey Athletic Center. All Clemson preseason practices are closed to the public.

The team will practice once a day Friday and Saturday. The team will then hold the annual Fan Appreciation Day at Death Valley on Sunday from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Bowden announced that Chris McDuffie had returned to the team and will practice on Friday. He had been suspended previously after a summer arrest. Any discipline will be handled internally or could be announced at a later date.

Defensive back Roy Walker has a knee injury, but is expected to practice on Friday. Bowden said his physical status will be
evaluated as the preseason progresses.
