Bowden Gets Contract Extension

CLEMSON -- Clemson Athletic Director Dr. Terry Don Phillips announced Tuesday that Head Football Coach Tommy Bowden has agreed to a contract extension.

"I'm very pleased with the contract extension agreement that we reached today," said Bowden.

Specific terms of the extension will be released at a later date.

Bowden, who has a 69-41 record in nine seasons at Clemson, will lead the Tigers in the Chick-fil-A Bowl against Auburn on December 31.
