CLEMSON FOOTBALL

Barry Richardson Excited About Upcoming Season

by -

Barry Richardson

Offensive lineman

Wando High School

6'7", 330 pounds

One look at Barry Richardson's immense stature, and it would be easy

for someone to think they were looking at a young man who could

dominate the competition in basketball at the high school level.

And although he has both the size and athleticism to do so, basketball

isn't something that the Clemson signee has considered.

"I do track and field after football, but that's it," Richardson said. "When

I am not doing that, I stay in shape by lifting weights and running after

school."

Having already qualified academically, Richardson is now focused on

making an impact at Clemson, and doing whatever it takes to make sure

the offense plays up to its potential.

"The college football season is coming up soon, and I am very excited

about it," Richardson said. "I think we will have a pretty good team, and I

expect us to be in a big bowl game."
