GREENSBORO, N.C.-The 2001 Atlantic Coast Conference football
schedule was released Tuesday by ACC Commissioner John Swofford. The schedule is comprised of 63 games, including 36 conference matchups, over a span of 14 weeks. In all, ACC schools will face seven non-conference teams which finished in the Top 25 of the Bowl Championship Series standings, including four opponents in the BCS Top 12.
