Virginia led all ACC schools with five first-team selections while Florida State had a league-high eight players named to the 1st and 2nd teams ... Virginia's five first-team selections were the most for the Cavaliers since 1998 ... 10 of the 11 league teams were represented on the first team.

Wake Forest's Chris Barclay rushed for a league-high 1,010 yards in the regular season and is the first Demon Deacon running back named first-team All-ACC since Mark Young in 1987 ... Barclay and Virginia's Alvin Pearman rank 1-2 in the ACC in rushing ... Pearman is 10th all-time on the ACC's all-purpose yardage list with 4,875 yards and over his last five games has averaged 145.8 yards rushing per contest.

Clemson's Airese Currie leads the ACC in receptions (61) and receiving yardage (868) and is the first Tiger wide receiver named first-team All-ACC since Terry Smith in 1991 ... Georgia Tech wide receiver Calvin Johnson is the 11th true freshman in ACC annals named to the first-team; Johnson leads all ACC freshmen and is second nationally (among freshmen) in receiving yards per game (70.5).

For the second straight year, Virginia guard Elton Brown was named as the recipient of the Jacobs Blocking Trophy emblematic of the league's top offensive lineman ... Maryland's C.J. Brooks, Virginia's Heath Miller, Florida State's Alex Barron, Georgia Tech's James Butler, Clemson's Leroy Hill and Wake Forest's Ryan Plackemeier are all first-team repeaters from a year ago.

The All-ACC teams were comprised of 21 seniors, 19 juniors, nine sophomores and two freshmen ... Wake Forest's Plackemeier leads the ACC and is ninth nationally in punting (43.9) ... Maryland's D'Qwell Jackson leads the ACC in tackles per game (11.2) ... Clemson's Leroy Hill leads the league in tackles for loss (17.5) and is fifth in tackles per game (8.9).
